INDX Intimate Apparel Welcomes Growing International Footfall

The SS20 edition of INDX Intimate Apparel, which took place in August of this year, played host to over 170 brands and was hailed a success by exhibitors and buyers alike. Show Organiser, Amanda Adams reflects on the key triumphs of the show:

“It’s imperative that INDX retains its order writing status so we are very happy to report that over £2.3million worth of orders were written during the August show which was an uplift of 4% versus last year. We are also extremely pleased to confirm that 84% of those Buyers who attended the show placed orders during the 3 days which represents a fantastic conversion rate.

As word of our unique buyer and business focussed approach spreads through the industry, we are also starting to welcome a growing international following. We have always attracted a strong and loyal buyer footfall from the UK, Ireland and Europe but we are delighted to see an influx of buyers travelling to the show from further afield. Cranmore Park is ideally situated near excellent air and rail links and at the last show Buyers visited from New Zealand, Iceland, America and Africa”.

Set to return to Cranmore Park in Solihull from 16-18 February 2020, preparations for the next show are well underway and to date, the confirmed exhibitor list features over 130 brands with many more in the pipeline. Adams offers a preview of what Buyers can expect from the February presentation:

“As the seasonal focus of the show shifts the spotlight onto AW20, we will be offering a strong selection of product which specifically caters to buyers looking for Christmas gifting, ‘winter shops’ and party essentials...

Alongside the lingerie collections which promise a riot of glamour and sophistication, we will also be unveiling an extended collection of nightwear, loungewear, legwear, shapewear and accessories. From cosy loungewear, luxury silk and premium prints to funky slippers, party tights and wardrobe solutions - the February show promises something for every retailer”.
